Determine Your Type Of Homebusiness

Besides examples of businesses on my last write up, here are some type of businesses that you can operate from home:-

1. Use your experience and knowledge to set up business - if you have vast experience in growing a child, then set up a child care business.

2. Use your hobby - if you have a unique and useful hobby, why not use it as your business base. For example, your hobby in sewing or knitting can generate a good income from it.

3. Catering - if you love cooking, set up a catering business then.

4. Use your personal resources - if your house near school, why not set up a transit place for student. Some student stay quite far from school and usually they need place to go for resting or eating before continue to their afternoon class (religous class). You can offer the place to stay or transit.

5. Sell other people product - if you are good in marketing and have vast working network, sell other people product and you can earn commission from it.

6. Use internet as your homebusiness - internet is a good way as a homebase business. Will write more on this topic in my next write up. Keep on reading.

What Can You Do From Home?

Becoming member of eHomemakers is a good way to find supports and business opportunities or networking for those interested to work from home. Besides, there are still lot of business nature you can operate from home. Here are some examples:

1. Trading Agency - you can set a trading agency that are operated from home. You must registered your company and have a company account. Trading agency meaning you become an agent or middleman from supplier to customer. Selling premium gift or office stationery are good trading agency company you can set up. This mean you as an agent from supplier and you find customer and you sell direct to the customer. You don't have to keep stock at your house because order is taken upon order-meaning when the customer order, then you order from supplier. Supplier usually giving the agent special price and you can resell back to the customer at certain price mark-up. For delivery and payment, you can discuss with your supplier. Find several suppliers and you can compare their prices.

2. Freelances - Freelances usually requires certain skills and knowledges. Writer or Translator are good example of homebased freelances. To be a writer, you must have special skill and passion in writing, so do translator which required good command of languages. Whether you write or translate, bear in mind to always prepare a set of simple agreement with your client regarding mode of payment, time frame and others important issues which might giving you problem later.

3. Trainer/Motivator - Being an independent trainer or motivator meaning you have to share your experiences and knowledges with others. You can forged strategic alliences with others more established home-based trainers as well as professional consultants. The availability of internet network make finding clients are pretty easy, just set up your own web site. Trainer or motivator involves excellent communication skills, ability to think spontaneously clarity of thought and presentation, lots of preparation, and the skill to listen, interpret and handle questions.
